I cannot speak highly enough of the creativity, musicianship, and organization that flows from this course and the instructors, Kat and Sarah. As someone who has never studied songwriting in my formal music training, I have felt overwhelmed in going about this within my own classroom. This course helped me to gain confidence not only in my own songwriting abilities, but also in my ability to guide students on their songwriting journey. I know it will help you, too!

What if I've written some songs before - will I get anything from this?
Like many people, I wrote songs when I was younger but never had any guidance or structure. Somewhere along the way I got the idea that I wasn't skilled enough to continue songwriting. This course allowed me to create in a safe space, gave excellent prompts, and encouraged me to complete songs that might otherwise remain unfinished in a notebook. I feel more confident and excited to continue my songwriting journey!
